Job Overhaul Coordinator, Welshpool

Role Summary:
The overhaul coordinator is responsible for the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the overhaul supply chain whilst ensuring the employees on the team are maintaining standard times.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with the supervisor about day- to- day job requirements in the workshop to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Liaise with other departments (welding, tube section) to coordinate and maintain constant workflow in the department to align with customer and business expectations.
Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements to operate faster with a high degree of accuracy. Communicate potential delays with the Overhaul supervisor.
Ensure documentation including photos are uploaded at the required intervals to ensure quality compliance.
Ensure the operations are performed safely by strict adherence to all safety procedures.
Ensure tools and equipment in the workshop are kept in good working condition. Report defective equipment.
Complete quality documentation before each task, at job completion and when a corrective action is required.
Guide and coach employees on the safe use of equipment whilst monitoring their productivity by ensuring standard times are met. Ensure the employees are performing the correct tasks at the correct times.
Ensure accurate work instructions and tools are used for each task.
Ensure strict adherence to all environment, health and safety and quality protocols.
Investigate Safety incidents and collaborate with the Overhaul Supervisor to address mitigation actions.
